Musnad Ahmad 509:11

Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from 'Asim bin Bahdalah, from Habib bin Abi Jubayrah, from Ya'la bin Sayabah, who said: "I was with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on a journey of his. He wanted to relieve himself, so he commanded two palm trees, and one joined to the other. Then he commanded them, and they returned to their places of growth. A camel came and struck its chest against the ground, then it made a gurgling sound until the area around it became wet. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Do you know what the camel is saying? It claims that its owner wants to slaughter it.' The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent for him and said: 'Will you gift it to me?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have no wealth dearer to me than it.' He said: 'Then treat it well.' He said: 'Certainly, I will not honor any wealth of mine as I honor it, O Messenger of Allah.' He came upon a grave whose occupant was being punished, and he said: 'He is being punished for something not major.' He ordered a palm frond, and it was placed on his grave. He said: 'Perhaps it will be lightened for him as long as it remains moist.'"
