Hadith of Ya'la ibn Murrah al-Thaqafi (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث يعلى بن مرة الثقفي (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 509:19
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Amrah, from al-Minhal ibn Amr, from Ya’la, who said: I do not think that anyone among the people saw from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, anything other than less than what I saw. He mentioned the matter of the boy, the two palm trees, and the matter of the camel, except that he said: "What is the matter with your camel that it complains to you? It claims that you worked it until it grew old, and now you want to slaughter it." He said: "You have spoken the truth. By the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I had intended that, but by the One who sent you with the truth, I will not do it."
