Musnad Ahmad 509:22

Ubaydah ibn Humayd narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to me, from a man who is called 'Abdullah ibn Hafs, from Ya'la ibn Murrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw me while I was perfumed with *khuluq* (a yellow perfume). He said to me: "O Ya'la, what is this *khuluq*? Do you have a wife?" I said: No. He said: "Go and wash it off yourself, then wash it, then wash it, and do not return to it." *** 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—'Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah—Husayn ibn 'Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from al-Rabi' ibn 'Abdullah, from Ayman ibn Thabit, from Ya'la ibn Murrah, who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Whoever wrongfully takes a span of land, Allah the Almighty and Majestic will burden him to dig it until he reaches the end of the seven earths, then it will be hung around his neck until judgment is passed between the people."
