Hadith 771:18
Muhammad ibn Ubayd and Abu al-Mundhir narrated to us, they said: Yusuf ibn Suhayb narrated to us. Abu al-Mundhir said in his narration: Habib ibn Yasar narrated to me, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: We used to recite during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "If the son of Adam had two valleys of gold and silver, he would seek a third one to add to them, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns in forgiveness to whoever repents."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد، وأبو المنذر، قالا: حدثنا يوسف بن صهيب، قال أبو المنذر في حديثه قال: حدثني حبيب بن يسار، عن زيد بن أرقم قال: لقد كنا نقرأ على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " لو كان لابن آدم واديان من ذهب وفضة، لابتغى إليهما آخر، ولا يملأ بطن ابن آدم إلا التراب، ويتوب الله على من تاب "
