Hadith 771:20
Waki' narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, and my father, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I asked Zayd ibn Arqam: "How many [military] expeditions did the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, conduct?" He said: "Nineteen. And I participated in seventeen with him, and he preceded me in two expeditions."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا إسرائيل، وأبي، عن أبي إسحاق قال: سألت زيد بن أرقم: كم غزا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قال: " تسع عشرة، وغزوت معه سبع عشرة، وسبقني بغزاتين "
