Hadith 771:32
'Affan and Mu'ammal narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Qays ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from 'Ata', that Ibn 'Abbas said: "O Zayd ibn Arqam, do you not know that a piece of hunted game was gifted to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while he was in the state of Ihram, and he did not accept it?" He said: "Yes." Mu'ammal said: "So the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) returned it and said: 'We are in the state of Ihram'?" He said: "Yes."
حدثنا عفان، ومؤمل، قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، حدثنا قيس بن سعد، عن عطاء، أن ابن عباس قال: يا زيد بن أرقم أما علمت " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أهدي له عضو صيد وهو محرم فلم يقبله "؟ قال: نعم. قال مؤمل: فرده النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقال: " إنا حرم "؟ قال: نعم
