Hadith 771:47
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Murrah informed me, he said: I heard Abu Hamzah, that he heard Zayd ibn Arqam say: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on a journey, and he stopped at a place. I heard him say: "You are not one part in a hundred thousand parts of those who will come to me at the Hawd (the Cistern) from my Ummah." He (the narrator) said: How many were you that day? He said: "Seven hundred or eight hundred."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا شعبة قال: عمرو بن مرة أخبرني، قال: سمعت أبا حمزة، أنه سمع زيد بن أرقم قال: كنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سفر، فنزل منزلا، فسمعته يقول: " ما أنتم بجزء من مائة ألف جزء ممن يرد علي الحوض من أمتي " قال: كم كنتم يومئذ؟ قال: " سبع مائة أو ثمان مائة "
