Hadith 771:5
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Hayyan, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: "A man from the Jews bewitched the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: "So he suffered because of that for days. He said: Then Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to him and said: 'A man from the Jews has bewitched you; he tied knots for you in such-and-such a well. So send someone to it to bring them.'" He said: "So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, and he extracted them and brought them, and he untied them." He said: "Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood up as if he had been released from a tether." He never mentioned that to the Jew, nor did he ever show it in his face until he died.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
