Hadith 771:56
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from 'Uthman ibn al-Mughirah, from Iyas ibn Abi Ramlah al-Shami, who said: I witnessed Mu'awiyah asking Zayd ibn Arqam: "Did you witness with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, two Eids that occurred together?" He said: "Yes. He prayed the Eid at the beginning of the day, then he granted a concession regarding the Jumu'ah (Friday prayer), and said: 'Whoever wishes to pray Jumu'ah, let him pray.'"
