Hadith 771:70
Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, from an-Nadr ibn Anas, from Zayd ibn Arqam, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, these privies are attended [by devils]. So when one of you enters the toilet, let him say: 'I seek refuge in Allah from the male and female devils (al-khubuth wa al-khaba'ith).'"
حدثنا ابن مهدي، حدثنا شعبة، عن قتادة، عن النضر بن أنس، عن زيد بن أرقم، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إن هذه الحشوش محتضرة، فإذا دخل أحدكم الخلاء فليقل: أعوذ بالله من الخبث والخبائث "
