Hadith 771:83
Muhammad ibn Rabi’ah narrated to us, from Khalid Abu al-‘Ala’ al-Khaffaf, from ‘Atiyyah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "How can I be at ease when the companion of the Horn has put the Horn to his mouth, bent his forehead, and inclined his ear, waiting for when he will be commanded?" He said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard that, and it was difficult for them. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Say: 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.'"
حدثنا محمد بن ربيعة، عن خالد أبي العلاء الخفاف، عن عطية، عن زيد بن أرقم قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كيف أنعم وصاحب القرن قد التقم القرن وحنى جبهته، وأصغى السمع متى يؤمر "، قال: فسمع ذلك أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فشق عليهم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: قولوا: " حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل "
