Hadith 771:9
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Hasan ibn Muslim informed me, from Tawus, who said: Zayd ibn Arqam arrived, and Ibn Abbas said to him, seeking to recall it: "How did you inform me regarding meat that was gifted to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while it was forbidden?" He said: "Yes, a man gifted him a limb of hunted meat, so he returned it and said: 'We do not eat it; we are in a state of ihram.'"
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن ابن جريج قال: أخبرني حسن بن مسلم، عن طاوس قال: قدم زيد بن أرقم فقال له ابن عباس يستذكره: كيف أخبرتني عن لحم أهدي للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو حرام؟ قال: نعم، أهدى له رجل عضوا من لحم صيد، فرده، وقال: " إنا لا نأكله إنا حرم " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
