Hadith 488:1
Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from 'Aqil ibn Khalid, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Urwah, from Usamah ibn Zayd, from his father Zayd ibn Harithah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "That Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to him at the beginning of what was revealed to him, and he taught him the ablution (wudu) and the prayer. When he finished the ablution, he took a handful of water and sprinkled it upon his private parts."
حدثنا حسن، حدثنا ابن لهيعة، عن عقيل بن خالد، عن ابن شهاب، عن عروة، عن أسامة بن زيد، عن أبيه زيد بن حارثة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أن جبريل عليه السلام أتاه في أول ما أوحي إليه، فعلمه الوضوء والصلاة، فلما فرغ من الوضوء، أخذ غرفة من ماء، فنضح بها فرجه " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
