Musnad Ahmad 939:15

'Ali ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to me, Ya'qub ibn Khalid informed me, from Abu Salih al-Samman—Yahya said: And I do not know it except that he said: From Zayd ibn Khalid, from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "Quraysh, the Ansar, Aslam, and Ghifar—or Ghifar and Aslam—and whoever was from Ashja' and Juhaynah—or Juhaynah and Ashja'—are allies and clients. They have no patron other than Allah and His Messenger."
