Musnad Ahmad 939:17

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, 'Amarah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Tu'mah narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, distributed among his companions sheep for the sacrifices, and he gave me a young goat (*'atud*) that was a *jadha'* (a lamb or kid that has reached the age of six months to a year). He said: So I brought it to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, it is a *jadha'*." He said: "Sacrifice it." So I sacrificed it.
