Hadith of Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani (RA)
Hadith 939:3
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, from Abu 'Amrah, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani: That a man from Ashja', one of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died on the day of Khaybar. This was mentioned to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Pray over your companion." The faces of the people changed because of that, so he said: "Your companion committed ghulul (theft of spoils) in the way of Allah." We searched his belongings and found beads from the beads of the Jews that were not worth two dirhams.
