Musnad Ahmad 938:22

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Hadir ibn al-Muhajir al-Bahili, he said: I heard Sulayman ibn Yasar narrating from Zayd ibn Thabit: "A wolf attacked a sheep, so they slaughtered it with a flint stone, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, permitted eating it."
