Hadith of Zayd ibn Thabit (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 938:28

Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, Musa ibn ‘Uqbah narrated to me, from Busr ibn Sa‘id, from Zayd ibn Thabit, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed one night, and the people of the mosque heard his prayer. The people increased on the second night, and the voice of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was hidden from them, so they began to make noise and clear their throats. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked out at them and said: "You continued in what you were doing until I feared that it would be prescribed for you. And if it were prescribed for you, you would not be able to perform it. Indeed, the best prayer of a person is in his house, except for the prescribed prayer."
