Musnad Ahmad 938:31

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to us, from Ibn Shamasa, from Zayd ibn Thabit, who said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) one day, he said: "Glad tidings to Ash-Sham, glad tidings to Ash-Sham." I said: "What is the matter with Ash-Sham?" He said: "The angels have spread their wings over Ash-Sham."
