Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Ziyad ibn Sa'd al-Khurasani narrated to me, he heard Shurahbil ibn Sa'd saying: Zayd ibn Thabit came to us while we were in a garden of ours, and we had traps with us that we were setting. He shouted at us and drove us away, and said: "Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade hunting within it?"
