Musnad Ahmad 928:23

Abdullah narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Umar al-Qawariri narrated to me, Salm ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Zirr, from Ubayy ibn Ka’b, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: "Indeed, Allah has commanded me to recite to you." He said: So he recited to me: "Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be released until there came to them clear evidence: A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures, within which are correct writings. And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence." "Indeed, the religion with Allah is the Hanifiyyah (monotheism), not polytheistic, nor Jewish, nor Christian. And whoever does good, it will never be denied to him." Shu’bah said: Then he recited verses after it, then he recited: "If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would ask for a third valley, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust." He said: Then he concluded it with what remained of it.
