Musnad Ahmad 1018:105

Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Ikrimah ibn Khalid al-Makhzumi, from his father or his uncle, from his grandfather, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said during the expedition of Tabuk: "If the plague occurs in a land and you are not in it, then do not enter it. And if it occurs in it while you are in it, then do not depart from it."
