Musnad Ahmad 1018:116

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Humayd al-A'raj, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'adh, from a man among the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, addressed the people at Mina and assigned them their places. He said: "Let the Emigrants (Muhajirun) settle here," and he pointed to the right side of the Qibla, "and the Helpers (Ansar) here," and he pointed to the left side of the Qibla. "Then let the people settle around them." He said: And he taught them their rites. The hearing of the people of Mina was opened until they heard him while they were in their places. He said: So I heard him saying: "Throw the pebble (Jamrah) with [pebbles] like the pebbles of throwing (al-khadhf)."
