Musnad Ahmad 1018:37

Yazid narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Sa'id informed us, from al-A'mash, from Yahya ibn Waththab, from a man among the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said—I think it is Ibn Umar—from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: "The believer who mixes with the people and bears their harm with patience is greater in reward than the one who does not mix with the people and does not bear their harm with patience."
