Musnad Ahmad 1018:66

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Rib‘i ibn Hirash, from a man from Banu ‘Amir, that he sought permission to enter upon the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "May I enter?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to his servant: "Go out to him, for he does not know how to seek permission. Say to him: 'Say: Peace be upon you, may I enter?'" He said: So he heard him saying that, and I said: "Peace be upon you, may I enter?" He said: So he gave permission, or he said: So I entered. I said: "With what have you come to us?" He said: "I have not come to you except with good. I have come to you that you worship Allah alone, with no partner." Shu‘bah said: And I think he said: "Alone, with no partner, and that you abandon Al-Lat and Al-‘Uzza, and that you pray five prayers by night and day, and that you fast a month of the year, and that you perform Hajj to the House, and that you take from the wealth of your rich and return it to your poor." He said: So he said: "Is there any knowledge remaining that you do not know?" He said: "Allah has known good, and indeed there is knowledge that none knows except Allah: the five: {Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs and no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted} [Luqman: 34]."
