Musnad Ahmad 1018:69

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, who said: I heard Yazid ibn Abi Kabshah delivering a sermon in Ash-Sham. He said: I heard a man from the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, narrating to ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan that he said regarding wine: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said regarding wine: "If he drinks it, then flog him. Then if he returns [to it], then flog him. Then if he returns [to it], then flog him. Then if he returns [to it] the fourth time, then kill him."
