Hadith 1018:72
Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Isma'il—meaning Ibn Ja'far—narrated to us, Muhammad—meaning Ibn Abi Harmalah—informed me, from 'Ata', that a man informed him: That he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, drawing Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn toward him, saying: "O Allah, I love them both, so love them both."
حدثنا سليمان بن داود، حدثنا إسماعيل يعني ابن جعفر، أخبرني محمد يعني ابن أبي حرملة، عن عطاء، أن رجلا أخبره: أنه رأى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يضم إليه حسنا وحسينا يقول: " اللهم إني أحبهما فأحبهما "
