Surayj ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha', from 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq, from a man who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, when were you appointed as a Prophet?" He said: "While Adam was between the spirit and the body."
