Musnad Ahmad 35:8

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from Hakim ibn Hizam, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, have you considered matters I used to perform as acts of devotion during the Pre-Islamic Period (Jahiliyyah), such as freeing slaves and maintaining ties of kinship—is there any reward for me in them?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "You have accepted Islam along with the good you previously performed."
