Musnad Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA)

Hadith 33:1004

Rawh narrated to us, Zakariya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am at the Basin (al-Hawd) looking at who comes to me." He said: "Then some people will be taken away from me, and I will say: 'O Lord, they are from me and from my nation.' It will be said: 'What do you know of what they did after you? They did not cease, after you, to turn back on their heels.'" Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Basin is a month’s journey, and its corners are equal—meaning its width is like its length—and its drinking vessels are like the stars of the sky. It is more fragrant than musk and whiter than milk. Whoever drinks from it will never thirst after it."
