Rawh narrated to us, Zakariya narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *nabidh* (fermented drink) of the glazed jar, the pitch-coated vessel, the gourd, and the hollowed-out log. And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) could not find anything for him to prepare *nabidh* in, it was prepared for him in a stone basin."
