Musnad Ahmad 33:101

Waki’ narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, from Jabir: "When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, arrived in Medina, they slaughtered a camel or a cow." He said once: "A camel or a cow was slaughtered."
