Musnad Ahmad 33:1032

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, Jabir informed me that a woman from Banu Makhzum stole, so she sought refuge with Usama ibn Zayd, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. She was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "If it were Fatimah, I would have cut off her hand." So he cut it off.
