'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade mixing dates and raisins, and fresh dates and unripe dates," meaning that they should be steeped together.
