Surayj narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz—meaning Ibn Abi Salamah—narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "I was shown that I entered Paradise, and there I was with al-Rumaysa, the wife of Abu Talhah. And I heard a rustling sound in front of me. I said: 'Who is this, O Jibril?' He said: 'This is Bilal.' He said: And I saw a white palace with a young woman in its courtyard. I said: 'To whom does this palace belong?' He said: 'This is for Umar ibn al-Khattab.' I wanted to enter it and look at it, but I remembered your protective jealousy." Umar said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah, would I feel protective jealousy over you?"
