Musnad Ahmad 33:1074

Surayj, meaning Ibn al-Nu'man, narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) asked his family for a condiment. They said: "We have nothing except vinegar." He said: So he called for it, and he began to eat and say: "What an excellent condiment is vinegar, what an excellent condiment is vinegar."
