Musnad Ahmad 33:1076

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muharib ibn Dithar, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari say: I got married, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to me: "Have you married?" I said: I married a previously married woman (thayyib). He said: "What is the matter with you and the virgins, and playing with them?" Shu'bah said: I mentioned that to 'Amr ibn Dinar, and he said: I heard Jabir say: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Why not a young girl, so that you may play with her and she may play with you?" Aswad ibn 'Amir, meaning Shadhan, narrated both of them to us with the same meaning.
