Musnad Ahmad 33:1079

Aswad narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from ‘Ata’, from Jabir, that a man declared his slave to be free after his death (tadbir), while he had a debt. So the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sold him for the debt of his master.
