Musnad Ahmad 33:1096

'Affan narrated to us, Sulaym ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Mina narrated to us, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My likeness and your likeness is like a man who kindled a fire, and moths and grasshoppers began falling into it, while he was driving them away from it. And I am holding you by your waistbands away from the Fire, while you are slipping out of my hands."
