Musnad Ahmad 33:1115

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, saying: I asked Jabir about circumambulating (Tawaf) the Kaaba. He said: "We used to circumambulate, and we would touch the corner (the Black Stone) at the beginning and at the end. And we would not circumambulate after the morning prayer until the sun rose, nor after the afternoon (Asr) prayer until it set." And he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "The sun rises between the two horns of Satan."
