Musnad Ahmad 33:1141

Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abdullah and 'Attab narrated to us, Abdullah informed us, 'Umar ibn Salamah ibn Abi Yazid al-Madini informed us, my father narrated to me, he said: I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: My father was martyred at Uhud, so my sisters sent me to him with a camel of theirs. They said: "Go and carry your father on this camel, and bury him in the graveyard of Banu Salamah." He said: So I came to him with some helpers of mine. That reached the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while he was sitting at Uhud, so he called me and said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, he shall not be buried except with his brothers." So he was buried with his companions at Uhud.
