Musnad Ahmad 33:120

Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Muharib, from Jabir, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade a man from coming to his family by night, so that he might betray them or seek out their stumbles."
