Musnad Ahmad 33:129

Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, he said: ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Miqsam narrated to me, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah: "Mu’adh ibn Jabal used to pray the Isha prayer with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then he would come to his people and lead them in that prayer."
