Musnad Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA)

Hadith 33:13

'Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, Haywah narrated to us, Abu Hani' informed me that he heard Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli saying: Jabir ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari had a camel that had become exhausted and was unable to move. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by him and said to him: "What is the matter with you, O Jabir?" He informed him, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) dismounted toward the camel, then said: "Mount, O Jabir." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, it will not stand up." He said to him: "Mount." So Jabir mounted the camel. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) struck the camel with his foot, and the camel leaped a leap such that if Jabir had not held onto the camel, he would have fallen from upon it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Jabir: "Go ahead now, O Jabir, to your family, if Allah the Exalted wills. You will find that they have prepared for you such and such," until he mentioned the bedding. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bedding for the man, and bedding for his wife, and the third for the guest, and the fourth for the devil."
