Ishaq narrated to us, Abd al-Malik narrated to us, from Ata, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: "We used to perform Mut'ah (temporary marriage) during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and during the time of Abu Bakr, and during the time of Umar, until Umar forbade us from it at the end." He means: regarding women.
