Hadith 33:170

Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Taymi, from Abu Nadrah, from Jabir, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to stand by the base of a tree—or he said: by a trunk—then he took a pulpit." He said: "Then the trunk moaned." Jabir said: "Until the people of the mosque heard it, until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to it and wiped it, so it became quiet." He said: "Some of them said: 'If he had not come to it, it would have moaned forever until the Day of Resurrection.'"
