Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, who said: I heard Jabir say: We were one thousand four hundred on the day of al-Hudaybiyyah. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to us: "You are today the best of the people of the earth."
