Musnad Ahmad 33:207

Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from ‘Ata’, from Jabir: "We used to take the meat of the sacrificial animals (al-hady) as provisions to Medina during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
