Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated, and he narrated it to Wahb ibn Kaysan, who said: I bear witness regarding Jabir ibn Abdullah that he narrated to me, saying: The situation became severe on the day of the Trench. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Is there no man who will bring us news of the Banu Qurayza?" So al-Zubayr went and brought their news. Then the situation became severe again, and he mentioned it three times. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, every prophet has a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
