'Abbad ibn al-'Awwam narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Abi Ja'far, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade the price of a dog, except for a trained dog."
